Most recently, Abraham was the President and Managing Director of Enerfi Energy Capital, a Managing Director at the Black Ant Fund targeting industrial, energy, and communications, and spent 8 years as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs as the co-head of their technology venture and growth investing practice. He brings deep industry and investing experience, established global networks, and a commitment to Green Economy companies. He holds degrees from Stanford, NYU. and Wharton.

ADVISOR

Niama El Bassunie is the CEO and founder of WaystoCap, the first online B2B marketplace focused on African businesses. Convinced that commerce will be the major driver of growth in Africa she has built a solution that will change the way commerce is done in Africa. The business is backed by international investors including Battery Ventures and Y Combinator. WaystoCap is also the first North African startup to be named a technology pioneer in 2018 by the World Economic Forum. WaystoCap was acquired by MaxAB in 2021.

Prior to WaystoCap, Niama worked in PWC in London, UK, in their energy markets and valuation team. While there she advised oil, gas and infrastructure companies including South Africa’s largest energy company. Following this, Niama set up a renewables trading firm before moving to Conakry, Republic of Guinea where she worked on a recycling project; and was part of the advisory team for the government of Togo in a project led by Sir Paul Judge.

Niama holds a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of Sheffield and was awarded the Rensburg prize for Macroeconomics. Niama is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and obtained two master's degrees from the London School of Economics: one in Decision Sciences and one in International Relations.

Salaheddine is currently CEO of Ktrium Investment & Advisory, and holds Senior Advisor roles with AfDB, Africa 50 and Tavex. Prior to this, he held a number of positions within the Moroccan government.

He was appointed in 2013 Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation to implement the royal vision relating to the diversification of economic partnerships, particularly with Africa. He was also appointed by HM the King, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for COP 22.

In 2007, he was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance, having on this occasion to manage the effects of the global financial crisis on the economy and on businesses in Morocco. During his tenure, he notably adopted strong measures, including the largest reduction in corporate tax rate and the broadening of the income tax base, as well as other tax measures necessary to adapt the Moroccan economy to global competitiveness.

In 2004, he was appointed by His Majesty the King of Morocco, Minister of Industry, Trade and Upgrading of the Economy, following a successful tenure as chairman of the Moroccan Textile Association and the Textile and Leather Federation within the CGEM, and as General Manager for the Spanish group TAVEX.

He graduated from ISCAE and holds a Master’s degree in economics at the University of Social Sciences of Grenoble.

Charlotte is a Director at Global Sustainable Capital Management, heading their sustainability work, and is a member of GSCM’s Investment & Risk Committee. Prior to this, Charlotte was Group Sustainability Strategy Director at Centrica. Throughout her career, her focus has been on sustainability strategy, policies and performance. She previously held senior management positions and had group-wide responsibility for sustainability at Vodafone, where she led Vodafone to the top of the Fortune Accountability Sustainability ratings, and was the Global Head of Sustainable Development at Lehman Brothers. Charlotte has worked globally across developed and developing markets, including Europe, China, US, Asia and Africa.

Charlotte is on the Board of Fauna and Flora International and Botanic Gardens Conservation International and a member of the BBC Sustainability Advisory Group. She holds a PhD in Environmental Biology from the University of Liverpool, and an MsC and BsC from King’s College University of London.

Rupesh is a co-founder of Global Sustainable Capital Management, a dedicated impact investment asset manager based in London. Prior to this, Rupesh spent nearly a decade at Lehman Brothers and Barclays in equity research in sustainability and the clean technology sector, ranking first in the Institutional Investor survey in his last year. Prior to this, Rupesh worked at PwC in the corporate finance practice. Rupesh co-founded Bankers without Boundaries, to utilise former investment bankers for the benefit of the environment and social good.

Rupesh has been an expert reviewer in various publications with the World Economic Forum, the OECD, Prince of Wales ISU and the UN relating to sustainable development. Rupesh has spoken at COP climate summits, sustainable investment panels and impact events around the world. Rupesh graduated in economics from the London School of Economics, is a chartered accountant and Freeman of the City of London.

Director at Conservation International, working to design and deliver impactful, large-scale climate change programming in low income countries. Professional experience in Guinea, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Afghanistan, Haiti, Côte d'Ivoire, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Madagascar, and Botswana.

For over 30 years, Michele (Mick) has been involved in the Financial Sector space, and has been a noteworthy leader in that space since 2000. Most recently, he has been involved in Fund Raising and helping companies list on AIM, as well as starting his journey in Sustainable Investing via GSCM. You may know him from his work as the Chief Administrative Officer at Nomura for France and Holland in Paris, and just prior to that, as CAO in France for Lehman Brother, again in Paris. Mick can also be credited with contributions in the Equities world of Investment Banking, where he was Head of European Equity Sales in New York, Head of European Equity Sales for Continental Europe in London, and started his time at Lehman Brothers as Co-Head of UK Equity Sales. Before Lehman, Mick spent 4 years at Credit Suisse on the European Equity Sales desk, and before then started his career at S.G. Warburg as an equity analyst and then equity sales person. He holds a BA from the University of Bristol and currently resides in the UK.
